Service Awards

The Service Awards feature can automatically recognize employee employment anniversaries and onboarding milestones (ex 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, etc) with a pre-written Wall post.
 
Here is an example of how Service Award Recognitions appear on the Wall:

Good to know

  • Financial and/or Perk rewards can be attached (if available): You configure reward amount or select up to 3 Perks for the recipient to choose from
  • Award Recognition posting dates are calculated using the Start Date stored in employee profiles
  • Managers are given 30 days advance notice of upcoming Service Awards, and can be given the option to Decline an upcoming award
  • Colleagues (same Manager) can be notified about Long Service Awards
  • Service Awards can be Pinned to the Wall for 5 days
  • Service Awards can be printed for handing out at a ceremony or hung in a frame
  • The Service Award will get posted to the Wall along with other Recognitions
 

Review/Adjust Service Award Settings

  1. Login to your Administrator account
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Service Awards in the left nav menu, select Service Award Settings
    Note:
    If you do not see this, contact your Account Manager to enable Service Awards
  4. There are 5 settings, with Help text for each
    1. Notify Colleagues
    2. Pin to Wall
    3. Line Manager Decline
    4. Printed Certificate
    5. Contractor Financial Service Award
  5. Click Update Settings to save your changes
    Note: Service Award Settings apply to all Service Awards you create
 

How to create a Service Award

Create a separate Service Award for each anniversary/milestone you want to recognize:

  1. Login to your Administrator account
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Service Awards in the left nav menu, select Manage Awards
  4. Click Add Service Award
  5. Start Date:  Date you want to begin Recognizing employees for this milestone (for new programs this is usually the Launch date)
  6. End Date: Leave blank; Only used if you want the particular service award to stop Recognizing on a set date
  7. Type: Long Service (ex 1 year) or Onboarding (ex 1 week)
  8. Years/Weeks: Select the milestone you are recognizing
  9. Message:  Type your own recognition message or select a template
  10. Badge: Select a Badge from the list
  11. Title: Select a Badge Title from the list, then click Save Badge
  12. Reward Type:  None, Monetary Reward (if available), or Perk Reward (if available)
  13. Click Add Service Award
  14. Repeat for each milestone you want to recognize
