Redemption Cards

Redemption Cards are part of the Financial Rewards redemption options for employees.

There are 3 types of Cards available:

• Pre-Paid Digital Gift Cards are available from a wide range of retailers, including clothing, food, games, travel, sports, jewelry, electronics, home goods, etc, and come in a variety of denominations (varies by country).  
• Workstars Virtual MasterCard is a reloadable MasterCard, valid for 36 months
• Everyday Benefits Card (UK only) works like a debit card at thousands of retailers in the UK

Employees can receive Financial Rewards through:

• Recognitions
• Service Awards
• Birthdays
• Ad Hoc Rewards
• Company Awards

Good to know

• Financial Reward recipients can redeem their rewards instantly or bank them for later use
• Financial reward balances do not expire
• Pre-Paid Digital Gift Card availability varies by country
• Pre-Paid Digital Gift Cards and Workstars Virtual MasterCard are delivered virtually
• Workstars Virtual MasterCard is only available in USD, EUR, or GBP
• Everyday Benefits Card is a physical card
• Each card carries its own terms, conditions, and expiration
• Once redeemed, an order cannot be cancelled, returned, refunded, or traded in
• Balance Transfer requests to the Workstars Virtual MasterCard or Everyday Benefits Card transfer your entire account balance to the card
• Only one Redemption Card type may be used in each country
• If you want to add or change which Redemption Card you use, contact your Account Manager

How to enable a Redemption Card/Catalog - single country configuration

Your Account Administrator must first enable the Redemption Card/Catalog for your recognition program:

1. Login to your Administrator account
2. Click System Settings
3. Click Redemption
4. Click Configure
5. Locate the Redemption Card/Catalog you will be using, click Enable
   1. If enabling Gift Card Catalogue, select show all gift cards or select which vouchers to display, click Confirm
   2. If enabling Workstars Virtual MasterCard or Everyday Benefits Card, set minimum balance transfer amount, click Confirm
6. Click Save

How to enable a Redemption Card/Catalog - multi-country configuration

1. Your Account Administrator must first enable the Redemption Card/Catalog for each country you are enabling
2. Login to your Administrator account
3. Click System Settings
4. Click Redemption
5. Click Configure

6. For each country:

   1. 1. Click Change
      2. Click Expand
         1. If enabling Gift Card Catalogue, select show all gift cards or select which vouchers to display, click Save
         2. If enabling Workstars Virtual MasterCard or Everyday Benefits Card, set minimum balance transfer amount
7. click Save

Points Conversion Rates used in multi-country configurations should be reviewed annually and adjusted for changes in exchange rate or cost of living, if necessary.
