How to give a recognition from the administrator portal

A Full User Admin can give a recognition on behalf of the CEO to one or more employees, departments, countries, or the entire company.

Good to know

  • Unlike ad hoc rewards, you cannot bulk upload a list of reward recipients, however you can manually select and Recognize one or more employees or Recognize a department or the entire company
  • By default, the recognition will come from your CEO/MD, but you can choose any employee
  • Unlike ad hoc rewards, this is tied to company values and is posted to the wall
  • Unlike ad hoc rewards, this does not require any attached reward
  • Recognitions do not require reward
  • If a financial reward is attached to the recognition, this will instantly credit the recipient's account balance with points
  • If a financial reward is attached to the recognition, the cost of the reward does not subtract from any budget holder's financial budget
  • If a financial reward is attached to the recognition, there’s no ability to control what the recipient spends it on (cards, swag, or payroll, if available)
  • If giving a financial reward to a large number of employees, confirm with your account manager that you have enough financial float to cover it BEFORE giving it
  • If Perks are enabled, only those perks that are configured for Auto Redemption (manager approval not required) will be available to attach to the recognition

 

How to give a recognition from the administrator portal

Note

  • Before starting, if you are issuing a financial reward to a large group, contact your account manager to confirm that your company has enough financial float to cover the cost of the recognition reward
  • If the float account runs dry, all redemptions get suspended until it's topped up

From your Administrator account:

  1. Click the Recognition tab
  2. Click the green + Recognition button
  3. Follow the Wizard to recognize
    • One or more employees
    • Everyone in the company
    • All employees in one or more departments
    • All employees in a specific country
  4. Provide a Reason and tag a Company/Core Value
  5. Click Continue
  6. If giving a financial reward, note the total point cost and ensure you have enough financial float to cover it BEFORE clicking Send Recognition
  7. Click Continue
  8. Click Send Recognition
  9. Wait for process to complete, then click OK

Warning!

  • There is no un-do
  • The reward is credited immediately, and email notification is sent to the recipient(s)
