If your program is configured to automatically sync your data using Merge, you may periodically need to correct or resolve missing or incorrect employee data or configure a new country when a new employee onboards.
Good to know
- Your employee data is automatically synced from your Human Resources Information System (HRIS) via Merge every 24 hours
- If an error is found during automatic sync, an alert will be posted on the home page of the Admin portal with a link to the sync error log for you to resolve
- You will need to manually add your departments and reporting groups before enabling Merge sync
How to check status of your employee data sync via Merge and resolve issues
- Login to your Administrator account
- Click the Add-ons tab, select HR Data Sync
- Review the Status of the most recent Position sync and Employee sync
- If Status indicates Failed Validation or Complete With Errors, click the 3-dot ellipsis and select View Details to download and review the error.txt file
- Resolve all the HRIS errors listed in the error.txt file and wait for the next automated sync to run within 24 hours
- Repeat as necessary until both syncs complete without error
How to check connection status of Merge sync with your HRIS
